Go beyond the standard! A 100’ aerial has been the traditional choice of truck companies and departments looking to maximize reach. The Ferrara HD-107 heavy duty aerial ladder exceeds this standard with an additional 7 feet of vertical reach. Perhaps just as important, the horizontal reach at 0 degrees is an impressive 101 feet.
Chassis options for the HD-107 are the Ferrara Ultra, Inferno and Igniter custom fire chassis, as well as the HME Spectr.
Our most popular body style is the extruded aluminum EZ-Stack with left side full height x 24” full depth compartments, a right side full height x 24” deep compartment ahead of the rear wheels and a right side EZ-Stack hose bed. The EZ Stack design efficiently deploys hose and allows reloading without raising the aerial. This spacious hose bed carries in excess of 1,000 feet of 5” LDH hose coupled in 100’ lengths.
The HD-107 is also available in traditional left/right high sides with rear hose chutes and a no pump/no tank design with 4 transverse compartments and overall large amount of storage.
Body compartment doors are available in roll up or hinged style. An optional left rear side hose chute can be plumbed for a pre-connected portable deck gun or blitz line.
The full length torque box stores NFPA or ISO ladder complements and is long enough to accommodate a 20’ roof ladder, 35’ 2-section extension and/or 40’ 3-section extension ladders.
The HD-107 is available with a 300 to 650 gallon water tank. Need more firefighting capability? Add a 200 CFM Compressed Air Foam System (CAFS).
