Ferrara Debuts New Product Line at 2006 FDIC

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - After the tragedies of September 11, 2001 and Hurricane Katrina on August 28, 2005, the nation's fire service has demanded a more highly customized emergency response vehicle. "First responders are responding to hazardous chemical incidents, possible weapons of mass destruction and natural disaster. These responses have generated the need to transport greater amounts of resources and increased the presence of command operations on the scene. It is with this in mind, that we have introduced a complete line of Emergency Response Trailers (ERT's)" said Chris Ferrara president and CEO of Ferrara Fire Apparatus, Inc.

Ferrara Fire Apparatus, Inc. now offers a wide variety of ERT's ranging from those designed to simply transport additional equipment to high tech units with living facilities, and elaborate communications systems including satellite and internet capabilities for large-scale command operations.

"From the industry leader in extruded aluminum fire body construction, all Ferrara trailers are manufactured the same way we build our emergency fire and rescue vehicles utilizing the highest level of quality and workmanship combined with premium materials. We engineer excellence into every emergency response trailer we manufacture" stated Mr. Ferrara.

All Ferrara aluminum extruded trailer bodies feature full perimeter 6061 alloy .01875 thick aluminum sub-frames and body sides and our super-tough roof is constructed with extruded tubing 16" on center, welded together by AWS QCI-96 Certified welders using 4043 Alco Tech wire.

Mr. Ferrara concluded that "Ferrara aluminum trailers are strong, yet light weight and will not rust or corrode, ensuring your agency a safe and durable piece of equipment for years to come. Ferrara's Emergency Response Trailers are built to last.!"
