Fire Apparatus, Inc.
announces a record setting fourth quarter sales in 2004

HOLDEN, LA - Chris Ferrara, President and CEO of Ferrara Fire Apparatus, Inc. in Holden, LA announced a record setting fourth quarter sales in 2004. "We are very excited about breaking all of our previous sales records in the fourth quarter," said Ferrara during a recent company meeting. "We have achieved sales growth at a level we have never seen before and we anticipate that growth to continue."

When asked what he attributes his company's sales achievements to, Mr. Ferrara indicated it was due in part to the innovative products his company continues to introduce each year. "We have an incredibly exciting array of new products including the Strong Arm, our revolutionary firefighting vehicle. No other fire apparatus manufacturer in the industry has designed or built an apparatus with as many multifunctional firefighting capabilities as the Strong Arm. And to think it all began with our design team's goal of providing firefighters an apparatus to more safely and efficiently extinguish fires. In addition, we have introduced CAPS, our Complete Airbag Protection System. This system offers the industry's safest, most-reliable occupant retention system providing complete protection for all outboard-seated passengers, not just those in the front. With these two new products, Ferrara Fire Apparatus, Inc. continues to take firefighter safety to a new level."

"It is really quite gratifying to be able to assist Departments in places such as New York City, Hartford, San Antonio, Indianapolis, Knoxville and the country of China." Mr. Ferrara also added that the Ferrara dealer network and direct sales staff continued to make inroads with larger cities, primarily due to the innovative features and benefits of the Ferrara Custom Inferno and Igniter Chassis. "We designed these chassis specifically to meet the needs of high response fire departments. As more larger cities experience the quality of a Ferrara chassis and heavy duty fire bodies designed exactly to meet firefighter requirements, we find that they return to Ferrara."

"I would also add that our growth is foremost a function of manufacturing a high quality product with very few warranty issues after delivery. When an issue does occur, we have in place the support necessary to see that the issue is resolved quickly and to the satisfaction of our customers. This is what continues to bring us repeat business year in and year out. Our success has been such that we are expanding our facilities that currently cover over 200,000 square feet and anticipate additional further growth in the near future," Mr. Ferrara concluded.
