2007 EPA COMPLIANT ENGINES ARE AVAILABLE FROM FERRARA!

As you are probably already aware, Federal emission standards for diesel engines are changing once again.  On the heels of the 2007 diesel engine standards that brought about diesel particulate filters and the regeneration process, the standards will become even stricter in 2010.  Most of these new 2010 compliant engines will use a process known as SCR, or Selective Catalytic Reduction.  The SCR process includes the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) used in the 2007 engines. It also has a Urea Tank, Decomposition Reactor and an SCR Catalyst.  The SCR catalyst is roughly the same size as the DPF and can potentially impact available compartment storage.

You can learn more about the new 2010 engines and how they work by clicking here to view a short slide show.

Engine manufacturers' production for the remainder of this year is quickly filling up.  Some have already stopped building engines for over-the-road use.  Once the engine manufacturers' production slots are full, they will no longer accept orders for 2007 compliant engines.

If you want to delay entry into the SCR type diesel engine, Ferrara has an answer for you.  We have obtained a supply of 2007 compliant engines.  This is not an unlimited supply and the orders for them are arriving daily.  If you want to get one of these non-SCR engines, call your local Ferrara representative today, or call our factory at 800-443-9006!
