A leading manufacturer of fire apparatus, the Ferrara Fire Apparatus, Inc, 10,000 square-foot addition expands the total size of the headquarters facility to in excess of 200,000 square-feet. "The new facility underscores our leadership in the fire apparatus industry and our strong sales growth", said Chris Ferrara, President & CEO. To help maintain its position as an industry leader, Ferrara Fire Apparatus, Inc. has designed its state-of-the-art expansion to accommodate an increase in custom chassis production as well as an expanded apparatus service department. The new 10,000 square-foot facility has a large service bay area to accommodate numerous apparatus as well as heavy overhead cranes and manufacturing equipment. Over the years Ferrara Fire Apparatus, Inc., has invested heavily in the Holden facility. Since 1994, Ferrara has expanded its facility three times and has grown its operation to currently more than 300 personnel. "This expansion is part of our strategy to increase our manufacturing capability to meet the growing demands for our custom fire chassis and apparatus service department", Ferrara stated.
