A Fleet of 10 Ferrara Fire Apparatus to Plaquemines Parish

Holden, LA – Ferrara Fire Apparatus, Inc., America’s premier custom fire apparatus manufacturer, recently received a large, nearly $3 million order from Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana.  Plaquemines Parish is southeast of the New Orleans metro area and was significantly impacted by Hurricane Katrina in 2005.  The trucks involved in the order include one 77’ aerial, one heavy rescue, four pumpers, one hose tender unit, two mini-pumpers and one light rescue. The first trucks delivered from this contract will be in Plaquemines Parish within the next 4 weeks.
