Ferrara is the industry leader in producing custom heavy-duty fire apparatus. Offering a full line of pumpers, aerials, rescue, and industrial apparatus, Ferrara delivers custom designed solutions to meet the requirement and needs of any department.
Our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, with over 300,000 square feet of production space, is the heart of our flexibility and versatility. Ferrara offers a diverse line of heavy-duty custom chassis ranging from the premium Ultra and Inferno to the entry level Intruder2 and Ember. Custom built fire bodies are built to be the strongest in the industry featuring 3/8” thick marine grade extruded aluminum, but also available in stainless steel and galvanneal.
Ferrara also has a wide range of demo and stock apparatus available. Demo units are used by our dealer network nationwide to introduce potential customers to the features and benefits of a Ferrara custom heavy-duty fire apparatus. We maintain a large surplus of stock chassis and aerials that are available for quick builds and deliveries. The stock chassis feature Ferrara custom built chassis as well as commercial chassis such as Freightliner, Peterbilt, Kenworth, International, GMC and Ford.
