The HD-127 heavy duty aerial is the best choice for departments looking to maximize reach. The Ferrara heavy duty aerial exceeds other aerials by offering up to 22’ additional vertical reach. That could be an extra two stories on a high rise! This additional reach is also important when side reach from the street is considered. Chassis options for the HD-127 are the Igniter and Inferno chassis. An HME or Spartan chassis can also be utilized to match an in-service fleet. Our extruded aluminum or welded stainless steel fire body can be supplied in a traditional double high side configuration or our EZ Stack design which permits hose bed reloading without the need to raise the aerial. The spacious hose bed easily handles 1,000 feet of 5” LDH hose coupled in 100’ lengths. Compartment doors are available in roll up or hinged. Our expansive ladder tunnel can hold quint, aerial ladder, and ISO ladder complements, or be configured to handle equipment unique to your department. Water tank is available up to 500 gallons; water pumps available up to 3000 GPM. |
