Ferrara Fire Apparatus has been engineering safety into every emergency vehicle since the company’s inception. We’ve always used only heavy duty materials for our fire bodies because we want to make sure each piece of equipment is built to withstand the rigors of the fire service.
In the area to the right, you’ll see just a few of the safety features we’ve built into our lineup of custom fire apparatus. Some of them are fabricated here at our Holden, Louisiana factory. And others have been brought to us by our vendors.
Lower step heights, large windshields, keeping the driver’s hands on the steering wheel, load testing our cabs and bodies, the list could go on and on. Suffice it to say, when someone says they have an idea to make our trucks, and your job, safer, we listen.
