F-Shield from Ferrara Fire Apparatus is the most comprehensive corrosion protection system designed for fire apparatus.  Calcium chloride and other deicing agents can reek havoc with your fire truck’s undercarriage. F-Shield stops it from happening. 

With F-Shield, chassis frame rails, cross members, fuel tank and air reservoirs are encapsulated in a ruggedized, protective coating. The air reservoirs, reservoir hanger straps, fuel tank and fuel tank straps are treated separately prior to assembly. 

The frame, cross members, bumper backing reinforcement plate, radiator skid plate, spring hangers, cab lock mounts and required bolts are in place prior to treatment to ensure complete coverage.
